Director Krishna Vamsi's latest Telugu movie Paisa is one of the most-hyped and highly-anticipated movies of Tollywood. Produced by Ramesh Puppala under Yellow Flowers banner, the Nani and Catherine Tresa starrer was to release in 2013, but its release was delayed for several times due to unknown reason. Finally, this much-awaited film has hit the screens across the world today (February 7).

Paisa is an action thriller with equal amount of romance and high entertainment quotient. Padmasri, KK Benoji and Patrikeya have penned story, screenplay and dialogues for the film, which has hard-hitting, realistic narration and deals with the present political corruption with many real incidents as inspiration for the story.

It deals with the power of money and how the whole world revolves around it. While Nani and Catherine Tresa play lead roles, Charan Raj is making his comeback with an important role in Paisa. Siddhika Sharma, Bharath Reddy, Tabar, Raja Ravinder, Duvvasi Mohan, Raju Srivasthav, Subramanyam Karra and Hari Krishna are in its supporting cast. Sai Karthik has composed music and background score for the film, while Santhosh Rai handled the camera work. The movie has got an 'A' certificate from Censor Board due to a few action scenes and strong dialogues.
