Bhoothnath Returns Trailer

They say ‘Trailer hit toh picture hit’ and the trailer is definitely a hit! Amitabh Bachchan is back as a friendly ghost in Bhoothnath Returns, which looks like an interesting sequel to the first 2008 release. Moving away from emotional drama and an amateur ghost track, the sequel looks quite promising with Bachchan all set to contest the Lok Sabha elections. This trailer throws light on the eligibility of the candidate contesting – he should be Indian, above 25 years of age and should be alive!

Director Nitesh Tiwari has very strategically chosen the date of the movie release – April 11 – when the country is engulfed in election fever. Bachchan as Bhoothnath comes back to earth, as he has become a laughing stock among the ghost community and meets another kid on Earth who can see him. And from here begins another roller coaster ride for the duo against Boman Irani who reminds you of his own character played in Khosla Ka Ghosla.

Bhoothnath also assures you that if ‘gaana hit toh picture super hit’. You will nod your head in approval, as you begin to shake a leg to the catchy track by Mika Singh Party toh Party banti hai The tune tune reminds you of Big B‘s yesteryear unforgettable number Ki pag ghungroo from Namak Halal.

Overall the trailer of Bhoothnath Returns looks very promising and the hype should increase by umpteen number of times when Shahrukh Khan and Ranbir Kapoor will make their entry in newer promos. For now enjoy the first look of Amitabh Bachchan aka Bhoothnath and his friend. Isi baat pe Party toh Party banti hai! Sorry, can’t get this tune out of my mind.
